I am delighted and honored to serve as your president this year. Our recent Fall Conference broke all records with 355 participants in addition to our 41 program sponsors. I want to personally thank two of our board members, who completed their terms, for their hard work and dedication to the LA GFOA – Steven Stanfield, Desoto Parish School Board (immediate past president), and Don Gaudet (Lafourche Parish School Board (board member).

Louisiana GFOA Quarterly News

To keep its members informed and in touch with one another, GFOA of Louisiana publishes a quarterly newsletter, which is posted on the GFOA website. The GFOA Quarterly News presents important information on GFOA members and activities, along with a calendar of events and timely articles on issues of interest to finance officers in state and local government.

Deadline for submission of materials for newsletter consideration is the first week of the month preceding publication in March, June, September, and December.
